He has a wide experience in business and management particularly in health & safety, risk assessment, railway safety, auditing, inspection, quality, environment, human resources and training. He has significant skills in examining, analysing, auditing and writing manuals and procedures for management systems that underpin the management function and applying and implementing processes to maintain continuous improvement.
A lecturer in Management, previously at the University of Nottingham, he has a published book on Quality in business. Other work includes consultancy and implementation in ISO9000, Investors In People, Auditor Training, NVQ Assessing and other management matters |

He has recently undertaken work for the internationally known environmental consultants “Bullen Consultants” carrying out numerous Phase 1 botanical surveys of SSIs in and around Yorkshire. In addition he has undertaken bat, otter and vole surveys, including habitat management assessment and potential site analysis.
He was an assistant conservation Officer for Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and assisted in analysing planning applications to determine environmental impacts, a study of a canal restoration scheme, Phase 1 botanical surveys and various desk top studies and environmental data input. Lately he has specialised in reptile re-location and river corridor analysis and assessment. Training includes handling and trapping Great Crested Newts, fresh water Crayfish, reptiles, amphibians, Dragon fly and aquatic flora management, and specialist limestone botanical species. |

Anne has substantial experience in the NHS and medical/clinical management and nursing management particularly in organisation, safety, quality and human resources and training.
She has significant skills in consultancy and lecturing on nursing management despite suffering from the incurable and debilitating illness lupus (Systemic Lupus Erythematosis).
A lecturer in management during the mid 1990s at the Universities of Nottingham and Birmingham she has published a co-authored book on quality in business. Other work includes consultancy to the Nursing Division of the Department of Health, implementation of ISO 9000 and work in psychometric (LIFO). |
